Hot Mat Pilates takes everything you love about traditional mat Pilates and amplifies it with the therapeutic benefits of infrared heat. Our purpose-built hot studio is heated to approximately 34°C, creating the ideal environment for deeper stretches, improved circulation, and enhanced detoxification.
Using just your body weight and a mat, you'll work through a flowing sequence of exercises designed to strengthen, lengthen, and tone your entire body. The warmth allows your muscles to relax more deeply, meaning you can push a little further and recover faster.
Note: Hot Mat Pilates is not recommended for pregnant clients.

Infrared heat warms your muscles from the inside out, allowing you to stretch further with less risk of injury.
The gentle heat promotes perspiration, helping your body release toxins naturally while you work out.
Heat boosts blood flow to muscles and joints, delivering more oxygen and nutrients for faster recovery.
The combination of warmth, breathwork, and mindful movement creates a deeply calming, restorative experience.
Drink plenty of water before, during, and after class. We recommend bringing a large water bottle with you.
You'll work up a good sweat in our heated studio. A small towel for your mat and a larger one for after class is ideal.
The heat adds an extra element to your workout. Take breaks when you need them — your instructor will always support you.
Not at all! Hot Mat Pilates is suitable for all fitness levels. Your instructor will guide you through every movement and offer modifications to match your ability. The infrared heat actually helps beginners by warming muscles, making movements feel more comfortable from the start.
Our purpose-built studio is heated to approximately 34°C using infrared heating panels. Unlike traditional forced-air heating, infrared heat warms your body directly, creating a gentle and comfortable warmth rather than an oppressive hot environment.
Bring a water bottle and a towel — you will perspire! Wear comfortable, breathable activewear. We provide mats and all necessary equipment. Grip socks are recommended but not mandatory.
Hot Mat Pilates is not recommended for pregnant clients due to the elevated studio temperature. We recommend speaking with your healthcare provider and exploring our other class options that may be more suitable.
For best results, we recommend 2–3 sessions per week. However, even one session a week will deliver noticeable benefits to your strength, flexibility, and overall wellbeing. Hot Mat Pilates pairs beautifully with our Reformer Pilates classes too.
